Wesleyan appoints CDS
Wesleyan appoints CDS
Wesleyan, the financial services specialist for professionals, has appointed CDS to provide support and ongoing development for its intranet, which is used by 1,300 staff at its Birmingham head office and its home-based financial consultants around the country.
The mutual joins CDS’ rapidly growing portfolio of financial sector clients.
The first CDS project involved re-skinning Wesleyan’s current intranet site to reflect the organisation’s new brand, which was officially launched on 1 May 2014.
Bridgit Richards, Wesleyan’s Head of Marketing, said: “Our intranet is at the hub of our internal communications, so when we launched our refreshed brand to customers, the intranet also needed to reflect our new look and feel, to ensure staff were fully aware of the changes and messages we wanted to project.”
CDS has a track record in brand implementation for prestigious projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Games, where they played a vital role designing a variety of products for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
CDS, EPiServer’s largest UK Premium Partner, will provide Wesleyan with technical expertise and ongoing support as it continues to build and develop its intranet over the coming years as it embarks on an ambitious growth strategy and increases its internal communications.
CDS Chief Executive Fergus Bailie said, “We wanted to work with Wesleyan. We believe we’re an excellent fit as their EPiServer and digital implementation partner. We have the brand implementation experience, technical knowledge, IT support infrastructure and ISO certified security credentials required to make this project a success. Our capabilities and credentials create a powerful blend that is not easily duplicated and that is sought after, especially by companies that have to deliver reliable and secure financial services, which explains our success in this sector.”
The CDS project team includes an account manager, project manager, front end web developers, EPiServer developers and IT service desk support staff.
