London 2012 case study

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) was responsible for overseeing the planning and development of the London 2012 Summer Games.
To deliver a mind-boggling array of London 2012-branded publications and judging forms, LOCOG needed to harness the skills of the UK’s best suppliers. From a field of 1,500, CDS was chosen to join a panel of just ten suppliers to supply four services:

  • Creative design
  • Typesetting
  • Copywriting
  • Proofreading

CDS was the only supplier able to provide an end-to-end communication service to London 2012 – design, typesetting, copywriting and proofreading.
